It was night -time in Pallet town. But one boy was awake. His name was Ace Marhotty. He was watching the night -time Pokémon interview. Prof. Oak came on the screen and said “tomorrow I will be giving away pokemon to a few trainers. Each of these trainers have to be at least ten years of age. I also will be giving them something special “said prof. Oak. A jolt of excitement passed through Ace. Tomorrow was the nineteenth of July. And tomorrow was his birthday.
